Breathe in the excitement as you race from the rivers and creeks to the Atlantic and back again. You are likely to see porpoises, manatees, the wild horses of Cumberland, turtles and the many wild birds that frequent the area. We like to call our trips "eco tours at the speed of fun"

We view Jet Ski tours a little differently than the rental shops. The Jet Ski isn’t just for going fast and getting the rush. On our Guided Jet Ski Tours, your guide, a certified master naturalist, will point out and identify the wildlife you encounter and will tell great stories about the area.

You will make 4 or 5 stops to see several of the historic highlights along the water and to see wildlife. We also normally make a stop to visit one of the many beautiful white sand beaches on the islands in the Amelia and Cumberland Island waterways.

Each of our tours begin with safety instructions from your friendly, expert guide, who will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to help you get the most out of your island jet ski experience.

Once you are comfortable with riding your jet ski, you will follow your guide on your personal jet ski to explore the waters surrounding Amelia and Cumberland Islands. You can ride as a single on your ski or with up to two passengers.

During your Jet Ski tour, you will take in breathtaking views of wild horses on Cumberland and watch our local marine life frolicking in the water. While cruising around the island, your guide will make stops at various points of interest, such as Old Town and Pippi Longstocking’s house, Historic Fort Clinch, and Dungeness Mansion.

We have 5 waverunners and each can seat 3 persons. The only restriction is that there is a 450lb weight limit per machine.

We have an intimate knowledge of the area and its unique tidal conditions. With Jet Ski Amelia, your safety is our most important consideration. That’s one reason we have a guide on each trip. You will be instructed on how to safely handle the Jet Ski. You will also learn interesting facts about the area along with seeing some incredible wildlife while avoiding all the potential ouchies out there. We want you to have fun, learn new things, and be safe all at the same time.

That really depends on where you are in Jacksonville. We are 30 minutes from the Jacksonville airport and 45 minutes from downtown Jacksonville.

It shouldn’t take you more than 20 minutes to drive from the Omni to the dock with normal traffic.

It shouldn’t take you more than 15 minutes to drive from the Ritz to the dock with normal traffic.

Sunglasses with some sort of strap on them, clothes that can get wet or bathing suit, sunblock, shoes that can get wet (flip flops work great). If you do bring a waterproof camera, make sure it has a good strap or lanyard.

To drive one of our Jet Skis you must be at least 16. To ride as a passenger you have to be at least 8 years old.

Florida Law requires that to drive any motorized water vehicle, if the driver was born on or after January 1, 1988 he or she must have a Boating Safety Education ID Card. If you don’t have a card you can get one here. We can issue a temporary card at dockside, but you must allow an additional 30 minutes for instruction and to take a test. Florida Law requires that drivers must be at least 16 years old to operate a Jet Ski.

We have waterproof tops with neoprene closures on the wrists and neck that make it much more comfortable on cooler days or when the water is still cold

There is large locking cabinet on the dock that we put stuff in while we are out.

The glove box on the Jet Ski is water resistant. Having said that, we have had a number of phones and cameras meet their end on our tours. If it shouldn’t get wet we recommend leaving in the box on the dock.
